Our veteran Nedim Mašić, Secretary General of the Weightlifting Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, made us happy with another gold medal, this time at the world level. In the M55 Masters & Adaptive competition, in the +109 kg category, the flag and anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina proudly stood out with the gold medal. Bosnia and Herzegovina finally has a world champion in Olympic weightlifting in the veteran category.

On behalf of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we extend our sincere congratulations to Nedim Mašić on winning the gold medal at the World Championships in Rovaniemi.

Next year, we expect Nedim to complete his collection with a European gold medal.
