The previous weekend, the G2 taekwondo tournament " Galeb Belgrade Trophy - Serbia Open 2022" was held in Belgrade. Bh. representatives had very notable results at this tournament.

• In the senior competition, silver was won by Nedžad Husić, while bronze was won by Katarina Kraišnik and Erol Nući.
• In the junior competition, gold was won by Marija Jokić, Jelena Vasić, and Abdulah Bejtić, while Marija Orlović and Džejna Hamzić won bronze.
• In the cadet competition, Nino Šeremet and Hena Melez won gold, Ejla Makaš, Milica Vasić, Emin Demić won silver, and Adela Fafulović, Lamija Alihodžić, Laura Kujačić, and Jurešić Tin won bronze.

Ada Avdagić also performed in the senior competition. After winning the first round against the representative of Serbia by 2:1, in the second round in the fight for a medal, Ada Avdagić was defeated in the very finish by double Olympic medal winner Tijana Bogdanović with a score of 2:1, showing that her successful senior days are yet to come.
