International University Sports Federation | Karate
In Samsun, Turkey, from September 21 to 30, the FISU University World Cup was held in 6 martial sports, in which over 430 universities from 50 countries of the world participated. Our karate players represented the Universities of Sarajevo, Tuzla and Banja Luka and won 3 medals.
Representatives of the University of Sarajevo/Faculty of Sports and Physical Education won two medals. Hamza Turulja won the silver medal in the category up to 84 kg, and Rijad Džuho won the bronze medal in the category over 84 kg.
The representative of the University of Tuzla/Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Stefani Krešić won the silver medal in the over 68 kg category.
