Lejla Njemčević won 4th place at the World Championship

The best BIH cyclist and currently the first female cyclist in the world on the world UCI marathon ranking list Lejla Njemčević won fourth place at the World Championship in Scotland.

"At the biggest World Championship with a track that is brutal and with extreme weather conditions Lejla fought for a medal. After five hours and 20 minutes, Lejla won fourth place in the sprint," reported Lejla's team.

Our competitor had a bad day and 11th place in the first feed zone, but she turned it into the best result of all time at the world championships for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

She is currently the most consistent cyclist in the world this season, and her time is yet to come.

By the way, at the largest World Championship organized so far, competition in all cycling disciplines was held for the first time. More than 8,000 athletes from all over the world took part.

Lejla was the only representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Glasgow.

Congratulations to Lejla and her Team!
