In the premises of the Olympic Committee of BiH, the leaders of the Olympic Committee of BiH held a meeting with  the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Republika Srpska.

In the premises of the Olympic Committee of BiH, the leaders of the Olympic Committee of BiH held a meeting with  the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Republika Srpska. The meeting was attended on behalf of the Ministry by Minister Mrs. Sonja Davidović, accompanied by the President of the Republika Srpska Handball Federation, Mr. Marinko Umičević, the President of the Republika Srpska Cycling Federation, Mr. Vladimir Kuvalja, and the President of Handball club "Borac" Banja Luka, Mr. Saša Kondić. In the name of the Olympic Committee of BiH, the President prof.dr. Izet Rađo, Vice President, Mr. Marijan Kvesić, co-opted member of the Executive Committee to the Presidency, prof.dr. Milanko Mučibabić, and the Secretary General, Dr. Said Fazlagić attended the meeting. The topic of the meeting was strengthening cooperation between the OC BiH and the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of  Republika Srpska in order to maximize the support for athletes and sports workers at the entity and state levels. Minister Davidović did not hide her enthusiasm for the large number of successfully realized activities of the OC BiH, while the Olympic Committee of BiH expressed satisfaction with the adoption of the new Law on Sports of the Republika Srpska, which will put athletes in the foreground. Both sides expressed their desire for better cooperation in future, as well as concern for sports during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the time after the pandemic, which will certainly be difficult for sports.
