In order to provide the public with accurate information, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina submits an analysis of data related to the types of income from budget organizations realized in 2021.

On the basis of a set of financial reports for the year 2021, which were prepared in accordance with the applicable law and regulations and International Accounting Standards, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented income from the budget in the amount of 535,893 KM.

The stated amount analytically represents the following revenues:

Income from the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina - 40,000.00 KM (NOTE: The funds were paid at the beginning of 2021, and related to the implementation of the projects of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2020)
Income from the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton - 25,000.00 KM (NOTE: The funds are intended to support the Handball Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the participation of the men's national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the qualifications for the European Championship)
Income from the City Administration of the City of Sarajevo – 142,690.98 KM (NOTE: Funds intended for the final stage of the reconstruction of the Olympic Museum building in Sarajevo)
Income from the City Administration of the City of Sarajevo – 17,412.39 KM (NOTE: Funds intended for the reimbursement of overhead costs of using the premises of the Olympic Museum in Sarajevo by JU City Museums Sarajevo)
Sarajevo Canton Employment Office – 4,000.00 KM (NOTE: Subsidy of salary costs for an employee from the Sarajevo Canton Employment Co-financing Program)
Revenues for the realization of EU projects – 246,789.63 KM, for the implementation of which the funds were transferred by the budgetary authorities, namely - the City Administration of the City of Sarajevo (IPA program of Cross-Border Cooperation Serbia-BiH entitled "Museum Stories"); Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia (IPA program of cross-border cooperation between Serbia and BiH entitled "Strengthening the prospects of employment of persons with disabilities in sports - STEPin"); Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (EU project entitled "European Week of Sports 2022")
Income from the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton – 20,000.00 KM
Income from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports – 40,000.00 KM.

From the aforementioned analysis, it is noticeable that the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021, not counting the funds allocated and spent in 2020 (Revenues from the Council of Ministers of BiH - 40,000.00 KM), received 60,000.00 KM of budget funds from all levels authorities (Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sarajevo Canton) for the purposes of preparation, organization and participation of top BiH athletes in multi-sport competitions, which includes the participation of athletes in the Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 (held in 2021) and the Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022.

All other funds were dedicated to infrastructural projects (reconstruction of the Olympic Museum building and its functioning), implementation of projects financed by the European Union, as well as projects to support the functioning of professional sports associations that were in formal and legal problems (Handball Association of BiH).
