Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Defense Zukan Helez, together with Deputy Slaven Galić, organized a ceremonial reception for top athletes of Bosnia and Herzegovina and representatives of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the House of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The reception was organized on the occasion of the successful implementation of the activities of visiting military locations of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In his introductory speech, Minister Helez greeted those present, saying that he was pleased to host the reception organized in honor of top athletes, Olympians of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"In the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are working on a new Rulebook that will enable top athletes of our country to become part of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this way, we will gather young and promising athletes into the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to promote our Armed Forces as an institution, but also the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina internationally, and help athletes resolve their legal employment status and have better conditions for training, preparations and sports competitions themselves," said Helez.

President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Academician Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo emphasized that the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina is doing a great job when it comes to top athletes in our country.

He also said that the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are doing the same as the armed forces in the world.
