Recreational cycling tour gathered over 600 participants
The recreational cycling tour, organized by the Cycling Club Rotacija-SPIN, was attended by nearly 600 participants, led by the most successful BiH cyclist, Vedad Karić. This event, which gathered the largest number of citizens of Zenica as part of the Zenica Sports Days event, opened with the aim of promoting local clubs, stood out as one of the most visited.
The absence of cycling races in Zenica for many years and the large response to today's nearly 10-kilometer recreational ride clearly indicate the need and desire of citizens for such events to become a tradition.
Vedad Karić, a participant in the European and Mediterranean Games, on behalf of the organizers of the BK Rotacija-SPIN, expressed satisfaction with the response and fulfillment of the tour's goals. "The number of participants exceeded our expectations.
I am glad that we managed to promote cycling and a healthy lifestyle through this tour. I am especially pleased with the large number of children, which gives me hope that this will become a long-standing tradition. Next year we expect even more participants and better organization," said Karić.
On behalf of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we congratulate the organizers of the Cycling Club Rotacija-SPIN on the excellent organization of the event, with the message that such events are key to promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle.
