The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team took an important step towards qualifying for the European Championship with a convincing victory over the Croatian team in a packed Skenderija stadium in Sarajevo.

The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina extends its sincere congratulations to the National Team and the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on their exceptional victory!

The qualifiers continue in February when BiH will host Cyprus. A victory in that match would bring our team one step closer to qualifying for Eurobasket. At the same time, the qualifiers will also depend on the results of the match between Croatia and France – a defeat for Croatia in that match would automatically secure BiH a place in the championship.
