The first meeting of partners in the Erasmus + project SENTA

On March 14th and 15th, 2019, the first meeting of partner representatives within the implementation of the Erasmus + Sport project - SENTA was held in Oslo.

During the two-day meeting, partners from 8 countries (Norway, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina) exchanged information on previous experiences in the implementation of EU projects with special emphasis on projects related to entrepreneurship and sports. Partners agreed on the process of implementation of the following activities.

In the next 6 months, all partners will explore the current situation regarding social entrepreneurship in their countries of origin, as well as other EU countries, and compare them with the guidelines of the European Commission on the issue of dual careers of athletes.

At the same time, research will be conducted on the needs of athletes who are nearing the end of their professional sports careers in terms of social entrepreneurship and the competencies they possess and which are necessary for an easier and simpler transition to the labor market.

The end result of the Erasmus + SENTA project will be the development of educational online material aimed at supporting athletes to develop, finance and implement solutions and ideas aimed at social, cultural or environmental issues and turn them into economic and social values for themselves and society as a whole.

We invite all athletes who want to be part of this project to express their interest by sending an email to: okbih@okbih.ba and jasmin@okbih.ba.
