Today, within the Technical Course for Coaches organized by the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, promotion of the book "Sacred Hoops" by the legendary basketball coach Phil Jackson was held.

It is a Bosnian edition of the translation of one of the best books in the field of training philosophy that teaches us about motivation, teamwork, and excellence, and points to the fact that being a player is difficult in itself, but leading other players is an art that requires energy, charisma, expertise, and knowledge above all.

The BiH Olympic Committee, as a learning organization, has decided to make this excellent book available to the Bosnian Olympic community in the B / C / S language so that coaches from Bosnia and Herzegovina can learn and improve their skills.

The President of the Olympic Committee of BiH, Marijan Kvesić, stated that this is an excellent edition that has multiple values: The book "Sacred Hoops" is not just reading with a "happy ending" or a book in which clear instructions are given to coaches what to do. This book also doesn’t even tell the story of how one man coached the best athletes in the world and won everything that was possible to win in one sport. This book represents a life philosophy that every coach will understand in his own way and create his own path, create his own recognizability, and his own life philosophy that will lead him to coaching and life success. ”

The promoters of the book were Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo, Vice President of the Olympic Committee of BiH, and Prof. Dr. Zoran Milošević.

In a review of the work "Holy Hoops" prof. Dr. Izet Rađo, among other things, emphasized the crucial importance of realizing vision and dream as the essence of realization through a spiritual approach of full presence at all times, and not only when things go the way we would like. Being present at all times, that is, being aware is the seed of understanding. As we begin to notice ourselves and others as we are, without reasoning, compassion flows naturally - and it is a necessary foundation for finding the middle ground between extremes in which Phil Jackson as a coach turned vision and dreams into reality, becoming one of the best and most trophy-winning. coaches of all time.

 Prof. dr. Zoran Milošević in his presentation emphasized that the key to the success of the team led by Phil Jackson is in the motivation of each player individually, and that the essence of victory lies in the strength of the team, not the individual. He also pointed out that every player in the team has an important role, regardless of individual abilities and capabilities, which together create a winning energy and spirit.

The promotion of the book was held as part of a two-day Technical Course for trainers in the field of basic condition training organized by the BiH Olympic Committee for young coaches from 20 different sports and from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experiences, and ideas.
