The delegation "The Host Town initiative" was warmly welcomed by the President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, prof.dr. Izet Radjo, who on behalf of the BiH Olympic Committee, thanked for the visit and for the interest of the Tokyo 2020 Secretariat to include Olympians from Bosnia and Herzegovina in their activities.
One of the main topics of the meeting was the possible visit of Bosnian Olympians to the city of Isen after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. In this way, the Government of Japan and the Tokyo 2020 Secretariat want to ensure that all participants in the Olympic Games get better acquainted with Japanese culture. The Tokyo 2020 Olympics offered a visit to the city of Isen.
The conversation itself took place in a friendly spirit, emphasizing the similarities between the two countries rather than their differences, and therefore it was emphasized that one of the attractions of the city of Isen is certainly their fight with the bulls. As part of this program, the exchange of Olympians around the world is planned, and this is a kind of opportunity not only for our Olympians to get acquainted with the culture and tradition of Japan, but also to promote the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its features and certainly very characteristic culture.
Finally, the guests visited the Olympic Museum, with an obvious surprise at its history and extremely rich display.
