Workshop "SPORT FOR RULES" was held at the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina

As part of the implementation of the Erasmus + sport project entitled "SPORT for RULES"- spreading positive values through improving the refereeing role" 08.04.2022. A workshop for professors, teachers and students of sports and physical education was held on Sport for Rules is a project implemented by the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a partner in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and coordinated by the Italian Volleyball Federation and 7 partner organizations from the European Union.

The aim of the workshop was to present the material created as a result of this project. The material explains in detail the role of referees in sports, their skills and the values they generate in the game itself.

Ultimately, there is no game without judges, so one of the goals of this project is to encourage as many young people as possible to try themselves in the role of judges.

In addition to useful information, the material contains a series of exercises that teachers and professors can apply in their gyms and fields to present among students the importance of the role of judges, and positive values in sports.

Students of the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education at the University of Sarajevo had the opportunity to participate in games as a practical part of the workshop in order to bring closer the importance of respecting judges, which ultimately means respecting the game.

The realization of this project is by the end of 2022, and we expect a lot of activities to spread positive values through improving the role of judges in sports. The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina will certainly organize many more similar events by the end of the project.

We spread positive values in sports !!!
