The second European Games Minsk 2019 will be held in the Republic of Belarus from June 21 to 30, 2019. EI Minsk 2019 is an international multi-sport event, which will feature athletes from 50 European countries. The games are organized under the auspices of the EOC.

The second European Games Minsk 2019 will be held in the Republic of Belarus from June 21 to 30, 2019. The European Games (EI) Minsk 2019 are an international multi-sport event, which will feature athletes from 50 European countries. The Games are organized under the auspices of the European Olympic Committee and are held every four years.

The first European Games were held from June 12 to 28, 2015 in Baku, Azerbaijan. At the 45th EOC General Assembly held in Minsk on October 21, 2016, Minsk was chosen as the host city of the 2nd European Games 2019.

Over 4,000 athletes and more than 2,000 coaches and staff are expected to visit the Belarusian capital during the Games. The competitions will be supported by 650 international and 410 national technical officers. Minsk will receive more than 1,000 representatives of foreign media, as well as many officials, statesmen and guests from European countries. About 8,000 volunteers will support the Minsk 2019 European Games.

Of which 19 are Olympic disciplines and 4 are non-Olympic. Eight sports are part of the "Road to Tokyo 2020" qualifications (archery, athletics, badminton, cycling, judo, karate, archery, table tennis). For judo and boxing, this competition is also the European Championship. During the EI Minsk 2019, 200 medal ceremonies will be held.

The opening ceremony is on June 21, 2019 at the DINAMO stadium, while the closing ceremony is scheduled for June 30, 2019 at the same stadium.
