The President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Academician Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo, and the General Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Said Fazlagić, met today at the City Hall with the Mayor of Sarajevo, Samir Avdić.

This was also an opportunity for the leaders of the Olympic Committee of BiH to congratulate the mayor on his appointment and to wish him a successful mandate.

The focus of the discussion was on three key topics:

• YOG 2032 – Youth Olympic Games: continuation of the Olympic initiative and preservation of the legacy
• Commemoration of the 1984 Winter Olympics: as a tool to create a successful Olympic future
• Development of “Olympic Sarajevo of the 21st Century”: positioning Sarajevo as a modern Olympic city through numerous programs for youth and all citizens, as well as a future Olympic center for the region and the world
• Strengthening sports diplomacy
