The women's basketball team of BiH will make their debut tonight at the World Championship for women's basketball, which will be held in Australia from 22.09. until 01.10.2022.

The selector Goran Lojo took 12 basketball players to the World Championship who will defend the colors of Bosnia and Herzegovina: captain Milica Deura, Miljana Džombeta, Nikolina Knežević, Dragana Domuzin, Ajla Ikanović, Nikolina Delić, Ajla Selimović, Nikolina Elez, Jovana Marković, Matea Tavič, Anđela Delić and Jonquel Jones.

The first match at the World Cup will be against Puerto Rico, on Thursday, September 22, 2022. at 02:30 our time. The live broadcast of the match is on the program of the Sport Club.

In the group with our selection, apart from Puerto Rico, are also China, USA, Belgium and South Korea. Four selections from groups A and B will win a place in the quarterfinals of the World Championship.
