Karate | Four medals for Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Larnaca 2023 European Youth Championship

At the European Championship for cadets, juniors, and U-21 Larnaca 2023, Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by 33 competitors, and BH. the team won a total of four medals.

Nejra Sipović was decorated with a gold medal in the category - 55 kg, which made her the champion of Europe U21 in wrestling.

Anes Bostandžić (fights U21 +84 kg) and Ali Arnautović (fights cadets -57 kg) won silver, while the bronze medal was won by Marina Kurteš (fights juniors -61 kg).

Notable results were also achieved by Mahir Džuho, 5th place (fights U 21 - 84 kg), Omar Halilović 7th place (fights juniors + 76 kg), Kaja Topić 7th place (fights female cadets + 61 kg), Tarik Salkić 9th place (fights juniors - 68 kg).

With one gold, two silver and one bronze won, the BiH karate team took 12th place in the overall ranking in the competition of 48 countries!
