MoU between NOC BIH and Energoinvest
The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Energoinvest have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which defines activities aimed at strengthening the sports system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special focus on supporting Olympians, elite athletes, and young talents.
"We have the Winter Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina 2026 ahead of us, followed closely by the Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028. With this memorandum, the renowned company Energoinvest and the Olympic Committee of BiH aim to send a strong message that through the joint actions of successful Bosnian companies, the NOC BiH, and relevant sports institutions at all levels, we can provide top athletes with adequate conditions and create an environment in which they can continuously achieve outstanding results," stated academician Izet Rađa, President of the NOC BiH.
The Director of Energoinvest, Mirza Ustamujić, emphasized that this company is a proud symbol of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian economy with over 70 years of tradition.
"Energoinvest played a significant role in the organization and infrastructure of the 1984 Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo, and since then, our connection has been unbreakable. On the other hand, Energoinvest is a recognizable Bosnian brand, which I like to say is much more than just a company; it is extremely dedicated to social responsibility, the development of young talents in the fields of sports and culture, and creating better conditions for their progress.
Energoinvest is synonymous with trust, quality, and stability, not only in the energy and infrastructure sectors but also in supporting such initiatives, which differentiates us from all other companies in this segment and makes us the absolute leader in positive change, which is ultimately what is expected of us," Ustamujić emphasized.
This partnership is another step toward enhancing sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and collaboration with the business sector demonstrates how important it is to invest together in future sports successes.
