The promotion of postage stamps "EYOF 2019 Sarajevo & East Sarajevo" issued by BH Post and Post of Srpska on the occasion of the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) was held today at the Olympic Museum in Sarajevo.

The stamps were designed by Saira Imamović and Božidar Došenović, and the main motif on them is the mascot of EYOF 2019 - Groodvy.

The Vice President of the BiH Olympic Committee, Izet Radjo, said that he was pleased that the tradition of making stamps that follow major events in BiH continues, which contributes to the largest event since the 1984 Olympics.

The executive director for postal traffic of BH Post, Neziran Đogo, stated that the stamp was issued in a circulation of 10,000 copies with a nominal value of 2.50 BAM per block, and added that EYOF was perhaps a more important event than the 1984 Olympics.

The General Director of the Post of Srpska, Jasminka Krivokuća, stated that she was pleased that the company recognized this event and gave its contribution to this important event for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Post of Srpska issued the stamp in a circulation of 15,000 copies, in the denomination of 2.70 BAM.

The promotion was also attended by the deputy mayors of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo, Milan Trivić and Danko Vučetić.

The European Winter Youth Olympic Festival will bring together more than 1,000 competitors from 46 countries in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo from February 9th to 16th.
