The highest BIH State representatives with the Olympic team

Today, our Olympians Lana Pudar and Jovan Lekić were cheered on from the stands by representatives of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, HE Denis Bećirović, the Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dubravka Bošnjak, on behalf of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the President acad. prof. dr Izet Rađo, Vice-Presidents of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marijan Kvesić and prof. dr Milanko Mučibabić, as well as the Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Head of the Paris 2024 Olympic Mission, doc. dr Said Fazlagić.

Today's performance of Olympian Lana Pudar in the 100-meter butterfly was a kind of preparation for the 200-meter butterfly discipline in which she achieves the best results on the world stage, and the race is scheduled for July 31. Also, today's excellent swimming of debutant Jovan Lekić in the 400-meter freestyle is an indication that swimming in Bosnia and Herzegovina has a bright future in which we wish them much sporting happiness and success.

The support of state representatives in a special way boosts the morale of the athletes, for which the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina is extremely grateful, especially since for the first time as representatives of the State, together with the Olympic team, they spent significant time in the Olympic Village, the Opening Ceremony of the Games, and cheering on the BiH Olympic team at the Olympic venues.

We are confident that we will work together and with the necessary synergy to improve the conditions for top athletes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
