At the European Games Minsk 2019, Bosnia and Herzegovina will, in addition to the competition team, have another representative in the capacity of the International Technical Officer, that is, the judge.
24-year-old Tina Poletan, who started acquiring her boxing skills as a judge in 2012 will participate in the role of a judge at the European Games „Minsk 2019“. Already in 2015, she passed for the national BiH judge, and after that she continued to improve her expertise in the European and World Boxing Federation, and passed the last level (third star - the highest professional title of boxing judge in AIBA to the World Boxing Federation) in 2018 in Jakarta - Indonesia. At the invitation of AIBA and in their organization, Tina Poletan will be one of the dispensers of justice at this prestigious competition.
So far, Tina has judged important competitions such as:
“Asian Women’s Championship 2019”, Bangkok-Thailand;
“Mediterranean Games 2018”, Tarragona-Spain;
Golden Glove 2018, Nis - Serbia;
“Asian Games 2018”, Jakarta-Indonesia;
U22 European Championship, Targu Jiu-Romania;
“World Student Championship 2016”, Thailand; as well as many international and domestic tournaments that are in the world and European calendars of EUBC and AIBA.
It is definite that Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Olympic Committee of BiH and the Boxing Federation have one sports gem that will represent our country for many years to come in the most beautiful light in boxing rings throughout Europe and the world. Although Tina participates by invitation and in the organization of the World Boxing Federation, we are extremely proud of her participation, which is certainly a great recognition of the quality and ethics of her sports-refereeing work.
