Women4Sport "Strengthening dialogue, improving impact"
Today, the Croatian Olympic Committee hosted the fourth conference entitled "Strengthening dialogue, improving influence", organized as part of the EU project Women4Sport. The press conference opened the event, highlighting the key goals of the project related to the improvement of gender equality and increasing the involvement of women in sports, and the first panel of the conference was opened by the Deputy Mayor of the City of Dubrovnik, Jelka Tepšić.
Part of the program included two panels:
First panel: "Success in sport vs success in the profession" - panelists Morana Paliković Gruden, Lada Rojc, Zina Urlić, and Barbara Matić, and the moderator of the first panel was Tea Rožman Sverdović
Second panel: "Sport as a lifelong choice" - panelists Sunčica Bartolucci, Klaudija Bubalo, Iva Todorić, and Marija Anzulović, and the moderator of the second panel was Mia Bačić
The conference brought together representatives of sports associations, the academic community, and civil society from the region and beyond, creating a platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas on improving the position of women in sports.
The Women4Sport project is implemented with the support of the European Union, and the project partners are the Verlab Institute, BRAVO, the Olympic Committee of Montenegro, the Olympic Committee of Slovenia, the Olympic Committee of Albania, the Croatian Olympic Committee, while the coordinator of the project is the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This initiative represents a significant step towards a more inclusive and equal sporting environment, allowing women wider opportunities to participate and contribute at all levels of sport.
