Hamza Turulja is the winner of the silver medal at the World Karate Championship in the category up to 75 kg younger seniors, held in Chile. He pointed out that due to the political situation in Chile, most of the members of our national team were unfortunately not able to provide him full support that his opponent had. Turulja strongly believes that with that additional support he would have won the gold medal.
The meeting discussed the work of the Karate Federation of BiH, the support provided by the Olympic Committee of BiH, and the future performances of our national team members at European and world competitions. After the warm welcome, a press conference was held in the premises of the Olympic Committee of BiH on the occasion of Hamza's winning a medal in this important competition.
