On Thursday, February 6th at 4:00 PM, the Olympic Museum will host the commemoration of the 41st anniversary of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, as well as the promotion of the book “40th Anniversary of the Sarajevo Olympics”. Through photographs, the book seeks to preserve from oblivion the key moments of the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics, but also to reflect on the legacy that the Olympics left behind.

By commemorating the anniversaries of the Winter Olympics, we want Sarajevo to continue to be a city of excellence, respect, friendship and togetherness, and a bright Olympic future. As part of the event, a panel discussion on the topic “The Olympic Future and the Renovation of Olympic Venues” will also be held.

Attendance at the event is possible with an invitation from the BiH Olympic Committee.
