NOC BiH is committed to lowering its carbon footprint
The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to implement initiatives aimed at reducing its carbon footprint and managing resources more responsibly in its operations and at events it organizes.
These measures include a plastic-free catering policy, designed to reduce the use of single-use plastic products. NOC BiH, also with hybrid vehicle, is supporting more sustainable transport and lower emissions.
Digitalization is another part of the strategy: by using software to store and share data, the NOC plans to reduce the amount of printed material by 30 percent. In addition, NOC BiH continues the ongoing recycling of plastic bottles.
These initiatives are practical steps toward reducing plastic and paper consumption and improving sustainability in the Committee’s day-to-day operations. By consistently implementing these measures, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina is helping to foster a more responsible and environmentally conscious sporting environment.
