In the past three days, Bucharest hosted the European Grand Prix Final for cadet and junior taekwondo players, and the last day of competition was marked by the gold medal of 17-year-old Benjamin Husić.

The representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina triumphed in the category up to 73 kilograms, in a competition of 16 competitors.

Husić confirmed with his triumph at the Grand Prix that he is in excellent shape after winning a silver medal at the recent Bosnia Open E1/G1 tournament.

Benjamin Husić achieved the gold medal by defeating American Victor Rodrigues.

An additional recognition for the younger brother of BiH Olympian Nedžad Husić is the award for the best junior of the final Grand Prix.
