Basketball representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina flew from Sarajevo to Poland this morning for the pre-qualification tournament for the Olympic Games.

From Sarajevo International Airport, Miralem Halilović, Džanan Musa, Luka Garza, Amar Alibegović, Jusuf Nurkić, Amar Gegić, Adi Zahiragić, Aleksandar Lazić, Adin Vrabac, Edin Atić, Haris Delalić and Kenan Kamenjaš headed to Poland under the leadership of coach Adis Bećiragić.

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play pre-qualification matches for the Olympic Games at a tournament in the Polish city of Gliwice from August 12 to 20.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is in Group B where they will play against Portugal (Sunday, 16:30), Poland (Monday, 20:30) and Hungary (Wednesday, 21:00).

If they take one of the first two places, they will advance to the semi-finals, where the two best teams from group A, which includes the Czech Republic, Israel, Estonia and North Macedonia, will enter.

Only the team that wins the tournament will get a place in the qualification for the Olympic Games.
