BiH female volleyball players won a place in the Final Four tournament of the Silver League
The female volleyball players of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the triumph in the City Arena Husejin Smajlović in Zenica against the selection of Estonia with the result 3:0 (25:9, 25:18 and 25:20), they qualified for the Final Four tournament of the CEV Silver League, which will take place from 11th until 13th June in Maribor (Slovenia).
With this convincing triumph, BiH took revenge on the Estonians for the defeat in the 2nd round of the first tournament, which was also played in Zenica, when the Estonians celebrated with 3:2. The victory of BiH in the final tournament also leads Portugal to the tournament, which defeated Latvia with 3:0 (25:14, 25:21, 25:19).
BiH and Portugal will play for the first place in Group B on 3th of June at 8 pm, which is the last match of the tournament in Zenica. The BiH national team won the first match in Zenica 3:0.
Table after the 5th round: 1. BiH 13 (14:3); 2. Portugal 11 (12:6); 3. Estonia 6 (9:11); 4. Latvia 0 (0:15).
Last month, the BiH national team, also at the tournament in Zenica, qualified for the European Championship 2021, which will be played in Serbia, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria from 18th of August until 4th of September.
