CHINESE CULTURAL ZONE OPENED ON THE OCCASION OF THE UPCOMING CHINESE NEW YEAR AND OI BEIJING 2022
President of OK BiH, Mr. Marijan Kvesić today was a guest of the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, His Excellency Ji Ping, and the occasion was the celebration of the Chinese New Year as well as 3 more days until the beginning of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
The event was held in front of the Sarajevo City Center, attended by the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić.
In his statement, the Ambassador stated that one of the most important festivals in China is the "Chinese New Year", which takes place on February 1, 2022. Although in difficult conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, China will do its best to be a good host to all participants in the Winter Olympic Games, including 6 athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina. BiH athletes who will compete in the Games are ambassadors of friendship and will, in addition to top sports results, also promote their country with their participation.
The President of the OK BiH, Mr. Marijan Kvesić, thanked for the invitation to celebrate the Chinese New Year as well as the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. He expressed his personal belief that the Games will be at the highest level, regardless of COVID-19. And the organizer of the Games made sure that these were safe and fantastic Winter Olympics. The President of OK BiH emphasized that our country will be represented by 6 top athletes that we will all support during the Games.
