Delegation of the World Taekwondo Federation visited OK BiH
Today, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina was visited by a delegation of the World Taekwondo Federation led by the president Dr. Chungwon Choue, member of the Executive Board, prof. Dr. Metin Sahin, and General Secretary Jeongkang Seo, accompanied by Chairman of the Presidency of the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Samir Šarić, member of the Presidency August Orlović and General Secretary Vedran Ćubela.
The delegation was received by the president of the OK BiH Dr. Izet Rađo and the vice president of the OK BiH Marijan Kvesić.
In a pleasant one-hour conversation, the excellent work of the Taekwondo Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina was highlighted, as well as the extraordinary cooperation in the implementation of many projects of the Taekwondo Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and OK BiH.
"I want to highlight the outstanding work of the BiH Taekwondo Association led by President Samir Šarić, both in terms of competition and organization, and I hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina will win an Olympic medal in this particular sport at one of the next editions of the Olympic Games," said President Choue, and added that he has visited many countries of the world so far, but that he feels particularly welcome in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The President of OK BiH asked President Chou to support the efforts of the Taekwondo Federation of BiH in building the infrastructure for taekwondo sports in BiH, that is, national training centers, and to continue supporting the Taekwondo Federation as they have been doing so far.
With the help of OK BiH and friends from abroad, taekwondo sport will certainly continue through the progress and development of all areas of activity that are necessary for the final goal - modern conditions for training and the success of our athletes.
