EJU President dr. Toth congratulated the NOC BIH Vice President
The President of the European Judo Union (EJU) Dr. Laszlo Toth congratulated and expressed his great respect to the Vice President of the NOC BiH, Prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić, for his results in veteran judo championship.
After the European Judo Championship for Veterans, which was held in the Arena of the Hills Hotel in Sarajevo, where the Vice President of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Olympic Committee, Prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić, competed and won another gold medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus confirming the continuity of top results, the President of the European Judo Union (EJU), Dr. Laszlo Toth, sent his words of praise.
Prof. Dr. Mučibabić holds the 9th DAN master title in judo, which is the highest title in this Olympic sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond. He has been actively involved in judo for 60 years as an athlete and sports worker. On the way to the 9th DAN master title, he achieved exceptional success as a competitor, coach and sports worker.
During the golden period of sports in the former Yugoslavia, he won European and world medals as a competitor and national team coach (1981, 1982, 1986), and is the most decorated veteran of judo in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a multiple European and world veteran champion (2010, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024).
Dr. Laszlo Toth, congratulated and expressed his great respect to the Vice President of the BiH Olympic Committee, Prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić, on the exceptional contribution to judo in BiH, but also on a global level, and through the engagement and positive influence on sport in general that he realizes through his work in the BiH Olympic Committee.
On this occasion, the Vice President of the BiH Olympic Committee, Prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić, thanked the President, Dr. Toth for his support and contribution to judo sport, and presented him with appropriate gifts on behalf of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
