Our outstanding Olympian Elvedina Muzaferija today in the Super-G race at the Winter Olympic Games in Cortina d’Ampezzo achieved an excellent 16th place — the best finish in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Winter Olympic sport.

This result carries special weight. It was achieved under conditions in which our athletes often operate without systemic support, relying on their own work, character and faith in the goal. From that perspective, Elvedina’s performance is admirable and symbolically equivalent to winning a medal.

The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina extends sincere congratulations to Elvedina, her coaching team and everyone behind this success. Aware of the value and significance of this result for our sport and our country, the NOC of BiH will give Elvedina a special reward and continue to provide support for her further sporting journey.

We are proud of you, Elvedina, because your result goes beyond placement and becomes an inspiration for the whole country!

Our best skier, three-time Olympian Elvedina Muzaferija, achieved an outstanding result by placing 16th in the Super-G race on the extremely demanding course of Milano Cortina 2026! Her time was 1:25.85.

This is her best result to date in her career and the best for Bosnia and Herzegovina!
