- European Week of Sport aims to improve and enhance sports among the general population. The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with sports federations and clubs, has been marking the European Week of Sport in BiH for the third year in a row, with the promotion of sports with which BiH is involved and the general public is less familiar, said Mr. Mirsad Ćatić, Ambassador of the European Sports Week of OK BiH.

The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a member of the coordinating body of BiH for the European Week of Sport, has been organizing sports events for the third year in a row with the aim of celebrating the European Week of Sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This year's European Week of Sport is being celebrated in cooperation with the BiH Golf Federation, the Ice Sports Club "Unity", the BIH Skating Federation, the Skenderija Center, and the Sarajevo Shooting Club.

In a beautiful ambience on the Sarajevo Golf Courses, starting at 09:00, over 50 participants tried their hand at the magic of golf. As planned by the European Week of Sport, the participants were of all ages, as well as those who swung a golf club for the first time.

- We are honored and pleased that as part of the European Week of Sport, we organized socializing and competition on golf courses in Sarajevo. Golf has many advantages, including the fact that all age categories can practice this sport, as well as improving the physical and mental health of each individual, said the president of the Golf Association of BiH, Mr. Jasmin Selmanagić.

In the coming days of the European Week of Sport in BiH, various sports activities will be organized, and the BiH Olympic Committee as a special partner invites you to visit SportFest, which will be held on Friday at the Safet Zajko Sports and Recreation Center starting at 16:00.
