EYOF Baku 2019 - BIH results of July 24th and 25th
Results of the fourth and fifth competition day of the XV European Youth Olympic Festival in Baku.
During the fourth and fifth competition days of the European Youth Olympic Festival in Baku, the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved the following results:
ATHLETICS:
Almina Rašić took 18th place in the 200m race with a time of 26.88s, while Nikola Brdar broke his personal record by running 200m in 22.59s, and took 13th place in the overall standings.
Jovan Rosić placed in the final race in the 800m with a time of 1: 54.90 minutes, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 27. starting at 10:15 a.m. local time in Baku. It is important to point out that the time achieved in the qualifying race was ranked third.
SWIMMING:
Jovan Lekić achieved a time of 57.19s in the 100m dolphin and was only 300 second away from the finals.
Arman Livadić swam the 50m freestyle in 24.40s, while in the same style he achieved a time of 1: 58.27min in the 200m, which was not enough to enter the semifinals.
Also in the 50m freestyle, David Vučić competed with a time of 24.35, which qualified him for the semifinals, in which he took 16th place in the overall standings with a time of 24.29 seconds.
JUDO:
Representatives of judo recorded their first performances today. Mustafa Hebib unfortunately lost in the -73kg category in the elimination round to the representatives of Belarus, while Mario Jozeljić, who competes in the -66kg category, was free in the first round, and lost in the second round to the representative of Slovenia.
CYCLING:
After performing in the chronometer discipline, cyclist Kenan Mehmedović drove a road race today, in which he took the 79th position out of a total of 91 competitors with a time of 2:04:56.
Tomorrow, 26.07. Judists Hana Piralić (+ 70kg), Branko Tadić (+ 90kg) and Danilo Stanišić (-90kg) will perform. Good luck to young BiH athletes.
