At the very beginning of the 2019/2020 season, Elvedina Muzaferija showed that she is an athlete who can achieve a lot and from whom we can expect great results. At the Super-G race of the Europa Cup in St. Moritz at the beginning of December, Elvedina scored the first points in the Europa Cup with only 2.48 seconds behind the leader, and in competition with the world's greatest skiers such as: Tessa Worley, Wendy Holdener, Marta Bassino. As a confirmation of her top form, there are also the first points in the World Cup in the alpine combination race in Zauchensee, Austria.
Elvedina is the first athlete in Bosnia and Herzegovina who scored points in the World Cup, and the closest to that was our former skier Enis Bećirbegović. "Competitive skiing and World Cup appearances have been my life's goal for the past fifteen years. I am overjoyed because I managed to become the first BiH skier with points in the World Cup and I believe that this is an indicator of my form and the beginning of a successful skiing career. It is extremely demanding to compete with athletes who have big teams behind them, from coaches, their assistants, service technicians, physiotherapists, psychologists, while smaller ski nations at the same time perform almost "bare-handed" in relation to ski countries. I would like to thank everyone who supported my work from the beginning and believed in my success, such as the company Prevent, RM-LH and VINS ", says Elvedina.
This is the result by which Elvedina Muzaferija proved that her hard work, desire and will for the results pay off. With better equipment, a ski servicer and a larger number of ski days, Elvedina can certainly write the history of BiH skiing in fast disciplines. This is certainly the best motive at the very beginning of the season and we can certainly expect great results from our best skier.
