Lana Pudar on a BiH postage stamp

The Bosnian-Herzegovinian Olympian, the most trophy-winning swimmer from Bosnia and Herzegovina, is featured on a postage stamp of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Lana earned this honor with her brilliant results and promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina worldwide.

We are publishing the statement from Lana's club on the occasion of the postage stamp's release in full:

"When you deserve to be on a postage stamp of your country at the age of 18, then the only thing you can feel is honor, pride, and immense satisfaction for being part of this incredible journey.

The city of Mostar had many great athletes in its past, who achieved top results. Especially in team sports. Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the former state, had a large number of top athletes who were on the podiums of the world's largest competitions.

However, when you look at the context of the times we live in, when you see the situation in which the entire sport in our country is, when you see what the conditions are for top-notch swimming in the city of Mostar, then we can definitely and with full right say that Lana Pudar is already one of the greatest athletes and sports brands of our country of all time.

Thank you to BH Post for this wonderful gesture and for recognizing the importance and greatness of all that Lana Pudar has achieved and represents in our country," said Lana Pudar's parent club (Orka Water Sports Club).

Congratulations!
