Lejla Njemčević won UCI C1 race in Croatia
The best BIH cyclist Lejla Njemčević won the XCO UCI C1 race in Croatia with a dominant ride and won 60 new UCI points.
With a gap of more than two minutes, second place was taken by Mia Cameron, a member of the New Zealand national team, while Csenge Anna Bokros from Hungary completed the podium with third place.
Lejla Njemčević took the lead from the first lap and with safe driving increased her lead until the end of the race. The conditions on the track were made even more difficult by the rain that fell a few days before the race and made the technical rocky sections extremely slippery.
The next competition for our competitor is the national championship, and it will also be the last preparation before the first World Cup of this season, which will be held in May in the Czech Republic.
The World Cycling Federation has united all the World Cup races in different MTB disciplines, which are now held during one weekend with a direct transmission on the Discovery and Warner Bros platforms.
