MEETING OC BIH WITH SPORTS LEGENDS ZOI SARAJEVO '84

On the occasion of the celebration of the great jubilee of the 40th anniversary of the WOG Sarajevo '84, the president of OC BiH academician prof. Ph.D. Izet Rađo, vice-presidents Marijan Kvesić and prof. Ph.D. Milanko Mučibabić, secretary general of the OC BiH, assistant. Ph.D. Said Fazlagić hung out with sports legends WOG Sarajevo '84 Katarina Witt, Jure Franko, Bojan Križaj and Akira Kuroiwa.

The Sarajevo Olympics for these legends was a turning point in the creation of great careers and results, which is confirmed by their presence in the days of the jubilee celebration.


Achievements reminder:

Katarina Witt, German figure skater and Olympic gold medalist at the 1984 WOG in Sarajevo.

Jure Franko, a former Yugoslav and Slovenian alpine skier, who wrote the history of Yugoslav winter sports, won an Olympic silver medal in the giant slalom.

Bojan Križaj, the greatest Yugoslav and Slovenian skier of all time, a symbol of men's alpine skiing in the former Yugoslavia, took the oath on behalf of all athletes at the opening of the WOG Sarajevo '84.

Akira Kuroiwa, representative of Japan in the WOG Sarajevo '84 in speed skating, who started his Olympic career precisely in Sarajevo.
