Nadia Festić recorded a significant result at the ISU Junior GP

Bosnia and Herzegovina's junior figure skating team member, Nadia Festić, achieved significant success at the ISU Junior Grand Prix, held from September 18 to 21, 2024 in Ankara, Turkey.

Under the expert guidance of coach Alexander Aiken and with the support of the Ice Sports Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nadia secured 32nd place among the best junior competitors in the world, earning 89.00 points. This result represents the best current performance in women's figure skating from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At this prestigious competition, Festić showcased her talent and dedication, further strengthening Bosnia and Herzegovina's position on the international figure skating scene. Her performance delighted those present, and the result symbolizes hope and potential for Bosnian skating.

The Ice Sports Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina especially thanks the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Turkey for their hospitality and support provided to the Bosnian team during the competition. Such support contributed to creating a positive atmosphere and provided additional motivation for the athletes to give their best while representing their country.
