The support of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the top athletes of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are potential candidates for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, is one of the priority activities of the NOC BiH. The Olympic Committee of BiH, through the Olympic Solidarity Fund, implements this project in every four-year Olympic cycle for both the summer and winter editions of the Olympic Games.

In the scholarship project for the "Tokyo 2020" Olympics, three new athletes have been included, two from taekwondo - Dinko Šegedin and Marija Štetić, who are highly ranked in the world rankings, and an athlete - Abedin Mujezinović. It is important to note that these athletes are the most serious candidates for achieving the Olympic norm and participating in the "Tokyo 2020" Olympics. The mentioned athletes will enjoy scholarships from September this year until the end of the "Tokyo 2020" Olympic Games, which have been postponed to 2021. Currently, OC BiH is awarding scholarships to a total of 25 top BiH athletes for the "Tokyo 2020" Summer Olympics and the "Beijing 2022" Winter Olympics.
