NOC BIH and IDDEEA BiH signed a MoU on the digitalization

The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Agency for Identification Documents, Evidence, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

Today, the partnership between the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and IDDEEA was formalized, aiming for the digital modernization and empowerment of the country’s sports sector.

The Memorandum includes the implementation of a qualified electronic signature and the use of the e-IDDEEA mobile application for athletes, sports federations, and organizations within the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This cooperation marks a significant step toward the digital transformation of sports institutions by enabling secure and efficient identification, electronic authentication, and document signing—eliminating paper, waiting, and complications.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina has outstanding athletes, talents, and ambassadors of our country around the world. It is our duty to provide them, and everyone else, access to modern and secure digital services to simplify and accelerate administrative processes. This partnership with the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina sends a clear message – that together we are building a stronger, more modern, and digitally prepared Bosnia and Herzegovina,” stated the IDDEEA Agency.

The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina highlighted that this initiative has multiple values—not only as a technical enhancement but also as a symbol of the partnership between government institutions and sports structures, with the shared goal of promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best light.

Digital security, identity, and trust form the foundation of every modern state. Through such steps, Bosnia and Herzegovina demonstrates that it knows, can, and intends to be a leader in the region—not only in sports achievements but also in digital solutions that preserve dignity and facilitate the everyday lives of its citizens.
