NOC BIH participated in a three-day training of climate action
Module 2 of the training course for climate action officers as part of the Erasmus+ project "OCEAN" (Olympic Committees of Europe on the road to carbon neutrality) was held from April 18 to 20 via the ZOOM platform.
The focus of the course, in which the NOC BIH participated along with the partner Olympic Committees of Europe, was on defining the role of the climate action officer (or sustainability manager); ie general tasks and goals and interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
A debriefing of Module 1 was also held, during which the initiatives that the partner Olympic Committees have begun to implement at the individual and organizational levels were presented.
The NOC BIH was selected as one of the four national examples of active and successful implementation of project activities within the OCEAN project, which opened the opportunity for a short presentation of conducted activities for the months of March and April during the third session of Module 2.
We remind you that, using sport as one of the most powerful tools for a positive impact on society, the NOC BIH, as part of the big Olympic Family, is proud to cooperate with partner countries of the European Union and 18 European Olympic Committees in the implementation of the OCEAN project.
Only by working together can we create a path to sustainable development and carbon neutrality!
