OC BiH awarded Lana Pudar for the recently achieved top results in the senior competition
The President of OK BiH Marijan Kvesić, and the Vice Presidents of OC BiH Prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić and Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo, received today the swimmer Lana Pudar and representatives of the Swimming Federation of BiH in the premises of the Olympic Committee of BiH.
The reason for the reception is the presentation of an award to fifteen-year-old Lana Pudar in the amount of 3,000 KM for the recently achieved top results in the senior competition.
Lana Pudar's top results were achieved at the FINA World Cup 2021, where Lana wrote the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. swimming and won a bronze medal, and at the senior European Championships held in Kazan / Russia, where Lana took 5th and 6th place in the final races.
"I am very pleased to see how much the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina supports me, how much they stand behind me. I am really glad to see that people recognize my work, that they are ready to do everything for me. That means a lot, a lot to me and I thank the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina for that. I hope that our cooperation will continue in the future, "said our best swimmer Lana Pudar.
"The very fact that Lana managed to win the A Olympic norm within a year from a young talented swimmer, and continue to achieve top results in swimming, speaks of a quality athlete who with her work and perseverance ensured her entry into the club of the best. We want Lana to keep this continuity of victories and high placements and transfer it to the next Olympic Games in Paris in 2024 ", said the President of the OC BiH, Marijan Kvesić.
This is Lana Pudar's fourth reception at the BiH Olympic Committee in a relatively short period of just a few months. The Olympic Committee of BiH was among the first to recognize the Olympic potential in this young swimmer, and on several occasions financially supported her on her path to achieving top results.
