OK BiH and ASA Hospital Collaboration
The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OK BiH) and ASA Hospital signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to strengthen support for top athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of healthcare.
The memorandum was signed at the OK BiH premises in Sarajevo by ASA Hospital Director Prof. Mustafa Hiroš and OK BiH President Academician Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo.
“This is the beginning of a successful institutional partnership, which not only aims to promote our companies but, above all, focuses on elite athletes and sports in general. The purpose of the memorandum is to work on projects in health protection, injury prevention, and improving athletes' physical fitness through recovery, all with the goal of achieving top results,” said Prof. Dr. Rađo.
Elite athletes need attention so they can continuously achieve top results without risking their general health and to promote Bosnian sports and our country. Director Hiroš highlighted the good cooperation that has been established and expressed the intention to continue developing this collaboration for the benefit of sports and athletes.
“I am especially pleased that we are here at the Olympic Committee and that we can offer healthcare services to all athletes of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially our Olympians and Paralympians.”
ASA Hospital is the most modern, and also one of the youngest, in the region. As the first private general hospital in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ASA Hospital marks one year of successful operation and business this week. Over the past 12 months, the hospital has become an example of successful synergy of local experts, innovations, and dedication to patients.
