The delegation of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by the President of the OK BiH, Academician Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo, and the General Secretary, Dr. Sci. Said Fazlagić, visited the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton. They discussed projects and systemic solutions for elite sports, as well as the continuation of the idea that Sarajevo and East Sarajevo could host the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in the upcoming period.

The Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, Kenan Magoda, a former top athlete and experienced sports worker, expressed full understanding and support for the presented projects aimed at strengthening the sports system of Sarajevo Canton and achieving top results for our athletes and teams internationally.

He particularly supported the idea of organizing the YOG (Youth Olympic Games), which could see the City of Sarajevo, Canton, the region, and Bosnia and Herzegovina return to the world stage of the Olympics.

Attending the meeting were also Dejana Planičić and Ema Habul, senior associates for sports, international relations, and projects of the OK BiH.
