Presentation of the BIH Team EYOF "Baku 2019"

In the Olympic Museum - Olympic Committee of BiH, July 17, 2019. A press conference was held on the occasion of the presentation and farewell of the BiH team EYOF "Baku 2019".

The press conference was opened by the President of the Olympic Committee of BiH, Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, who expressed great satisfaction that the BiH team, which will proudly represent Bosnia and Herzegovina this year, consists of a large number of young athletes and not one, as a few months ago published in the media. President of the Olympic Committee of BiH, prof.dr. Radjo also stressed that the BiH Olympic Committee is committed to withdrawing significant funds, which directly directs sports federations to prepare young athletes. The President of OCBIH especially thanked the parents, who as partners of the Olympic Committee of BiH carry a great burden when it comes to youth sports, as well as athletes, clubs and sports federations of BiH. The President of NOC BIH emphasized that OCBIH also provided financial support for this EYOF for the final preparations of our athletes in the amount of 28,000.00 KM.

The Head of Mission of EYOF Baku 2019, Samra Jurišić, briefly informed the media about EYOF Baku 2019, and introduced the present media to the 25 members of the BiH team that are participating. In front of the young BiH team, young athletes Dunja Ginzburg and Branko Tadić addressed the press. In their address, Dunja and Branko emphasized that it is a great honor for them to represent BiH, and that, after long preparations, they will do their best to meet the expectations of their coaches, parents, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a representative of the coach of the young BiH team, Evelin Avdić thanked for the support shown to young athletes, hoping that they will achieve the best results and bring medals to their country. Our young Olympian (YOG) Emina Pasukan, who is participating in the role of a young ambassador at this year's EYOF in Baku, addressed the public. Emina Pašukan participated as an athlete in 2015, while in 2019 at EYOF in Baku she will work hard in her role as a young ambassador with the acquisition of new knowledge about Olympic values ​​through cultural and educational programs.

A great recognition and honor for OC BiH is the participation of the Secretary General of OC BiH Said Fazlagić in EYOF Baku 2019 in the role of a member of the Coordination Commission of the European Olympic Committee for the organization of EYOF Baku 2019.
