PRESIDENT OK BIH PROF.DR MILANKO MUČIBABIĆ GOLD MEDAL AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FOR VETERANS IN JUDO
At the World Judo Championship for veterans, which takes place from 8 to 11 September 2022. in Krakow (Poland) president of OK BiH prof. dr. Milanko Mučibabić won the gold medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which confirms the continuity of top results in this category of the President of the OK BiH.
Prof. Dr. Mučibabić is the holder of the title of master 9th DAY in judo, which is the highest title of this Olympic sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also beyond. He has been actively involved in judo for 57 years as an athlete and sports worker. On the way to the 9th DAN master title, he achieved exceptional success as a competitor, coach, and sports worker. During the golden period of sports in the former Yugoslavia, he won European and world medals as a competitor and coach of the national team (in 1981, 1982, and 1986), and was the most decorated judo champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a multiple European and world veteran champion (2010, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022).
President Prof. Dr. Mučibabić, as a prominent athlete and sports worker for many years, is an example to young people that sport has no boundaries.
