Professor Ervin Sejdić visited the NOC BIH

The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed prof.dr. Ervin Sejdić, winner of the prestigious award for young scientists awarded by former US President Barack Obama.

The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed prof.dr. Ervin Sejdić, winner of the prestigious award for young scientists awarded by former US President Barack Obama. President of OC BiH, prof.dr. Izet Rađo hosted Professor Ervin Sejdić, and discussed the activities of the Olympic Committee of BiH in the field of sport medicine and biomedical engineering. Taking into account the rich research experience of Professor Sejdić, and the very important role of sport medicine in the development of Olympic sports in BiH, it is certain that Professor Sejdić's knowledge and interest in this field will be for mutual benefit. Below is a short biography of prof.dr. Ervin Sejdić: 

Ph.D. Sejdić, graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada in 2002 (Bachelor of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering - Wireless Communication). He completed his master's degree in 2003 at the same University - Master of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering, and in 2007 he defended his doctoral dissertation - Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering, entitled "Feature Representation Using Energy Concentration in Time-Frequency Domain For Extraction and Classification ”. Since February 2008, he has been a postdoctoral scholarship holder at the Bloorview Research Institute, Bloorview Kids Rehab and the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering, University of Toronto, Ontario. From 2002 to 2008, he worked as an assistant researcher in the Department of IT and Electrical Engineering - Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario. Since 2002, he has been employed as an assistant, guest lecturer and lecturer at the Universities of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario and the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario.
