In the period from June 19 to 20, 2023, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted the first Kick-off meeting as part of the Erasmus+ project called: "Kids Running towards the Olympics - OlympicKids". The project is supported by the European Commission and is completely determined by a set of activities on the values of Olympism, sports in general, and the target group is children.

During the Kick-off, the coordinator of the Spor Elçilire Derneği (SPELL) from Turkey presented the work projects of the project, determined the deadlines, and discussed the activities within the set goals. In addition to Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the project also includes partners Centro Sportivo Italiano (CSI) - Italy, Kyttaro Enallaktikon Anazitiseon Neon (KEAN) - Greece, Skupnost razráživlni in education center (CERC) - Slovenia, Asociația Obștească Clubul Sportiv de Fotbal Feminin ( NOROC) - Moldova and Ayuntamiento de Pedreguer (PEDREGUER) - Spain.

What makes us even happier is that the NOC BIH and Sarajevo once again showed their values through their good preparation, professionalism, and hospitality. Our guests had the opportunity to visit many sights of the city of Sarajevo, including the Olympic Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As an Olympic city, our country has a special importance in this project.

The project will be implemented by 2025.
