Mr. Kocijančič used this opportunity to present the highest recognition of the EOC for perseverance in candidacy and successful organization to the Presidency of the Olympic Committee of BiH - President Siniša Kisić and Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Izet Rađo and Marijan Kvesić, as well as to the Secretary General of the OC BiH Said Fazlagić. Recognitions were also given to the mayors of the host cities, the mayor of Sarajevo, Mr. Abdullah Skaka, and the mayor of East Sarajevo, Mr. Nenad Vukovic more than deserved for their contribution to the organization of the European Youth Olympic Festival. The company EYOF d.o.o. was in charge of the complete organization whose director, Senahid Godinjak, also received this flattering recognition.

These exceptional recognitions are certainly made of joint work, unity and energy directed towards one goal, and that is the best edition of the 14th Winter European Youth Olympic Festival Sarajevo and East Sarajevo 2019.

Mr. Kisić said: "In addition to the European Olympic Committee, the host cities, the Organizing Committee of EYOF 2019 Ltd., we owe great gratitude and immeasurable contribution to the Executive Committee of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Commission for Top Sports OC BiH, Professional Service OC BiH BiH, to all Olympians, top athletes and sports workers who made a selfless contribution, were and still are part of EYOF, which is the largest multi-sport event since the 1984 Winter Olympics. We owe great gratitude to the Presidency of BiH and all levels of government and ministries who financially and organizationally supported the EYOF 2019 Project. Without them, this event would not have been held at this level. "
